WE LOAF OCADO

We know full well that there's folks outside of London crying out for great bread - and as local bakeries in the UK have diminished from 18,000 to about 3,500 in the past sixty years, it's not as easy as it used to be to find a great loaf. With Ocado on our side we're happy to be able to deliver to any home around the country, and just this week they have added two new loaves to their GAIL's range. We're baking plenty more American pumpernickel (chock-full of molasses, seeds, rye flour and a touch of cocoa powder for a chocolatey hint) and our sour cherry & currant sourdough - which we're making in a tin-shape for Ocado for ease of sandwich making!

It might sound a strange combination but we're big fans of the sour cherry & currant sourdough with butter and Marmite - give it a shot.

REBECCA HOSSACK ART GALLERY POP UP

We're very excited to be collaborating with the brilliant Rebecca Hossack Art Gallery this summer. Celebrating their 25th anniversary, each GAIL's will be showcasing artwork from a different Hossack artist for three months, starting in June. With our history of hosting cafes at the Frieze Art Fair and the Serpentine Gallery, our foot in the art world is leaving a firm imprint! The artists to feature include Laura Jordan, Peter Clark and Rob Tucker, to name but a few.

We'll be making up a commemorative tote bag, and visitors to each bakery will receive an art map of London showing the artists at each bakery. For the dedicated - the first ten to visit all of the bakeries will win the prize of dinner for two at GAIL's Kitchen, and a limited edition print from the Rebecca Hossack Art Gallery.
