Soups

Cold weather calls for hot measures. Warm up with our soup of the day, mop it up with some tasty handmade bread.

  • Celeriac Soup

This soup is absolutely perfect if you’re looking for strong flavours and a rich texture. The fresh hand picked celeriac is cooked extra slowly in order to bring out all those lovely flavours along with garlic, ginger and organic milk. Mop it up with a piece of our handmade breads for some extra warmth.

  • Potato and Leek

A classic but a goodie. The organic potatoes and leeks we use are gently combined with onions, vegetable stock, garlic stock and water to make this the ultimate comfort food.

  • Carrot and mint

There’s lots of lovely different flavours in this soup which is sure to get your mouth watering. We use mint twigs which are fantastic because they release the most aromatic flavours. We combine the mint flavours with organic carrots, onions, honey, vegetable stock and crème fraiche to get a rich flavour.

  • Pumpkin and Vanilla

Pumpkin and vanilla? Who’d have thought it could work so well. The pumpkin is slowly cooked to release that familiar homely flavour, then we add vanilla extract with onions and water to create something so special.

  • Lentil Soup

Although it’s not nice to have favourites, we do, and this soup is ours. We let the onions caramelise very slowly then we fold them through the red lentils. For added flavour and spice, we throw in celery, carrots, potatoes, cumin and turmeric. This is not a soup to be rushed, make it slow and eat it quick!

  • Courgette and sesame

This soup has a wonderful array of international flavours. The courgettes are mixed with shallots, onions, potatoes and fresh chicken. For the finishing touch, we sprinkle in Tahini and chili powder. Mop it up with some ciabatta bread for a heartier meal.

  • Fennel Soup

This vegetable has such a distinctive taste, we thought it would go brilliantly in a soup. The fennel is finely grated and mixed together with onions, vegetable stock, coriander, and orange zest. Best enjoyed on a winters day – but light enough to be a warmer weather soup too.
