When it comes to outdoor fun, delicious food and unsurpassable entertainment, GAIL’s annual Garden Party is the place to be!
Come to Oriel Place, just off Hampstead High Street alongside our shop there, on Saturday 12th September 2009 (9am – 5pm) for this year’s GAIL’s Garden Party which promises to be bigger, better and even more exciting than ever before. There will be a variety of food stalls with food from around the world, including the iconic Neal’s Yard Dairy, Meantime Brewing, Moro, Tor to Door, Gelato Mio, Porteña, German Deli, Patchwork Pate, Machiavelli, Tea Together, Chegworth Juices, Waitrose, Conscious Foods, Pinneys of Orford, Chilli Queen, Paul A. Young, St Germain elderflower liqueur, and of course GAIL’s Bakery’s own stalls of fine fare to feast on!
While treating your taste buds to all the delicious foods on offer, you’ll be entertained by bands ‘12 Tone’, ‘The Fancy Toys’, steel drummers, acoustic singer Alex Hall and the hilarious ditties of Erin Kleh. There are also plenty of activities to keep the little ones amused too, including face painting, a wizard magician, a fairy and balloon twisting. You could even win a fantastic family weekend in Dartmoor with our competition to find the ‘Best Sarnie in the World’! Great reasons for absolutely everyone to stay and play (and eat!) the afternoon away.
Aside from all the fun and frivolity, there is more to the Garden Party than meets the eye. By hosting this annual event, GAIL’s is raising money for Marie Curie Hospice. £1 from every purchase of a GAIL’s reusable bag on the day (to carry all your tasty morsels), will go to Marie Curie AND every time you take the bag into one of our stores you’ll receive 10% off GAIL’s bread. That’s a bag that just keeps giving!
