In amongst the weird and wonderful exhibits at the Frieze Art Fair, October 2010, you would have stumbled across the most exquisite and exciting tableaux of them all…our breathtaking GAIL’s displays!
Many said it was the most beautiful objet d’art at the fair but, in all honesty, we were simply doing what we know best: creating food that not only looks incredible but tastes it too. Layer upon layer of scrumptious cakes, pastries and sandwiches filled the room. As any GAIL’s fan knows, resistance is futile for all who venture near our tempting treats.
Upping the standard of the usual fare you find in cafes at large events, we enticed London and the world’s top arty folk with our award-winning swirls of pain au raisins, our iconic mixed olive sourdough stick split and filled with creamy goat’s cheese and colourful roasted vegetables and so much more.
We like to think that our cafes provided a feast for the eyes, renewed energy for the body and a welcome respite for the feet of weary art-browsers and buyers.
